Arboreal feeding!

I feed my snake with tweezers, and was trying to use a mouse to lure Nuppu down from her high hide yesterday. You can probably guess how that went! She reached down, snatched the mouse and then withdrew back up. The mouse ended up being consumed in the highest part of her cage, but to my slight surprise, she had no problems gulping down the (slightly smaller than usual) mouse while balancing herself on the branches.

I'm thinking I might be feeding her up in the branches from now on, as there's no worry about her digesting bedding either. Not that it's a problem, I have coarse cocohusk bedding and feed her dry mice, but anyway :)

My snow does this lol. I make him reach for it as far as he can before I let him snatch it up, sometimes he eats while hanging out the front doors of his viv. I think it would be the end of the world before anything escaped his gaping maw, he's never dropped one yet. I also feed prekilled dry mice. I raise my own.
