Are there any herp shows in the UK?

Hi guys, my first post here, glad I found this forum, so much traffic compared to other herp sites on the net! I was wondering, are there any herp shows in the UK? I'd like to see some more snakes....

Actually I went to London Zoo last Saturday and had a look around the reptile house...the Gaboon Vipers are awesome.

Wasn't there a law since one year ago that forbids snakeshows in England? The good breeders come to Holland and Germany for snakeshows since then.

I don't think a law was passed but the RSPCA makes it so difficult to have one that they don't............. real pity!

Ah, that is a pity indeed. Holland is not exactly a long way, but it's probably too far to go without a good reason. sigh.

The numbers denote how many of each gender. e.g. 1.2 Tri Colour Jungle Corns means that I have one male and two females. If you're not sure what sex they are then you use the third space as I have done with the axolotyls (0.0.2).

The E.H.S held a show last sept in Norwich, and there were a few others not many though.
I don't think it is just the R.S.P.C.A that try to stop the shows, it is the animal rights w***s that do most to stop them.

Thanks, my collection is not quite as impressive

Hey, we've all got to start somewhere! Be warned though, it's addictive and gets quite expensive after a while.....
