Aries Progression Thread (Amel?)

I'll add more information to this later, but for now just enjoy some pics of my new baby, Aries. He's only 6 grams right now and had his first shed with me last night, so he's all shiny now!

I say amel with a question mark because I'm been told he's amel, but he's just so pink and weird looking that I have a hard time believing it. We'll see over time :) Got him at a reptile show for $20 ^^

I went filter crazy, because he looks so cool with them. (The first two images are unedited).

And now all of the below pics have fun filters on them :)

You have such creative backgrounds for your pictures. Glad you started a progression thread! : )

Dragging this back up! Little Aries has grown a lot, and he still looks pretty funky. Does everyone still think he is just amel? He has so many speckles and white bits now that I think he might have the cinder gene, but he doesn't really look like a peppermint.

Sorry about the stuck scales. He had a rough shed recently when the humidity was low.

The fading of the red pigment on the neck and head is certainly very very intreresting. Definitely no cinder present because the ground color is showing too much orange/yellow already. But definitely curious.

Something I learned recently that I've been passing around like hot gossip: strawberry does not make snakes more pink (at least no more than hypo does).
