is it okay to use astroturf (indoor/outdoor carpet)
i ehard that astroturf is a good substarte beacause its really easy to clean and it doesnt harm the snake. but on a thread i heard its bad because it can somehow injure your snake or something i forget exactly
 
no its awful stuff!!
breeding ground for bacteria and if your snakes like to burrow, then it will find a way under the turf and probably harm itsself.

and it stinks :(
 
I used it about a decade and a half ago, and I hated it. I don't know if I would claim that it was injurious in any way, but it certainly was unpleasant to clean. And it takes some time to dry, so you have to have some "on deck" and ready when you're swapping out dirty turf for clean. Aspen is 1200% easier, it can be spot cleaned, and it looks better than fake green turf (imo). :shrugs:
