At long last, my turn to get another snake...!

Hi All,

At long last, I have succeeded in persuading my husband to let me have a second corn. I was surprised as it only took 1 week compare to 4 months for Freya.
So, here he is, he is a 1999 Anery het hypo, his name is Elrond and he has such a lovely temper... I did consider changing his name as I find it difficult to pronounce but I think I will stick to it, should it change, it would be to Heimdall "Nordic God of light and protection".

ok, I stop talking and show you a couple of pics that were taken last Saturday.

and of course I sneak one in of Freya, just for an update ;)

And a HUGE "Thank You" to Blutengel for parting with such a sweetie.... don't forget the directions for Saturday night, hu!?

I like seeing you so excited about getting him! So, up to snakey 3; an okeetee phase baby of Elrond? :crazy02:

Won't forget about directions.... :bang:

Congratulations 'Nina. No collection is complete without an anery. However, I question Barbara's motives in parting with him. I'll bet she's making room for her evil future hybrid projects. :nope:

That will be so difficult to get that one, Simon will never say yes... :crying:
But we might be able to sneak him in and he might not notice for a while that there are in fact 3 snakes and not 2...LOL... But, we had a plan about that, hu? Do you think it will work??

   Meeee????? Innocent! I just want to be able to hold back 2 babies of Elrond if i cannot decide which to choose....

It should be easier to spot him on Reptibak as Freya has a very similar color to the substrate....lol

Why are some husbands and bf's that difficult when it comes to snakes? I have another month, or two to talk my bf into a third corn, and after that a fourth, fifth and sixth corn :grin01:

That peeking picture is adorable! And he is a handsome boy!

btw, is that watch just small, or is your normal just big? My ghost hatched 7/26/2005, and it grows well, but not as big as your normal!

well, the watch is kind of small. I need to measure and weigh her but she is in blue now so I will leave it until she has shed. At the beginning of this month she was 66.32cm (see the precision...lol) and 74g and a month before that she was 65.56cm and 56g and she is shedding about once a month. She is growing 3.5-4cm and put on 18g every month so she is growing pretty fast... hehe, I might be putting her pic in the XXL corn thread :grin01:

Indeed, I was very very happy and also very tired!
Blutengel and I had been partying the week end away, going to bed very late... :crazy02:

My ghost is 62 gram last time I checked, 2 weeks before that 54 gram and 63 cm, and also shedding about once a month.
She's also growing fast atm (big fuzzies are good! ;) )

He will never stop to surprise me!

Guess where I am going now!?
I am going to Ikea to get some shelves to put the babes’ tanks and this was suggested by Simon!!!!
I am so amazed he even thought about it, never mind suggesting it… Could he be coming round to snake way of thinking?<o></o>

:crazy02:

13? Did you already distract Elrond? :grin01: Or did I tell you the wrong number? Sometimes I get mixed up too you know..... for example I said Olav was my 13th, but he was my 12th.... the kings got in last together I realized :bang:
