ATB babies!

River Valley Reptiles
I haven't been on here in a while... I went camping not too long ago, and with full time work and full time school I just don't have a lot of free time. But I thought I'd stop by and say hello, and show you my new babies! These guys were CBB locally by a friend of mine and given to me as payment for babysitting 15 of her snakes for several months. I haven't named them yet, because I don't know their genders. But aren't they cute little devils?

(Of all the shots I took, this one has the head mostly in focus... he just wouldn't stay still.)

They were born late last year and are feeding beautifully on f/t pinkies, though they are also just as inclined to feed on my fingers (the red one especially!). Thank goodness they're still wee little ones.

That red one is just plain crazy! Awesome specimen! Great pick-ups you got here. If everything goes right we will have out first clutch of them this year as well. Congrats!

Jay

Looking at that red one makes me feel like I'm tripping on acid. YOWZA

Haha, awesome. Thanks! His head is so very intense, with dark eyes and that crazy pattern all over with a mostly white belly... I can't wait to see what he grows into. With my luck probably a garden phase. lol.

Oh, and if anyone is looking for a CBB ATB, she still has a couple of bright yellow babies w/patterns left ... just shoot me a PM. [/shameless plug]

That red one is a firecracker! Beautiful :D I love their big heads on their little necks lol

Beautiful snakes. Write down my name and keep it until you are ready to sell them.

Uhhhh...."drooling profusely"... Wow!

They are both beautiful but dang! That second one is HOT!

What a great payment for your services!

Does she have another one that looks like the 2nd photo? Very nice! Did you get photos of the parents?

I have some red ones already. But that particular one reminds me of a photo I saw of one that Matt L. at GHI Reptiles produced a few years ago - not exactly, but just reminds me of some of his. I think I saw photos a couple of years later, and that I was pretty impressed with them. Here is a link to his '06 baby photos. See if any sort remind you of this one - just "different looking".

I will be very interested to see a progression thread on this baby!

WOW that guy has some fantastic snakes. I do see the similarity you are talking about Kathy.
