Here is my guy. He is the leader of my reptile army. He commands the Corn Commandos and is second in command of the "Leapin' Leopards" Gecko Division! He is a strong, silent type that only makes a muck if things go bad....real bad. He's missing the tip of his tail after a rough battle with Pyrex, King of the Tupperwares. If you see his eyes....you are already dead. You're brain just hasn't figured it out yet!

Ha! On a serious note, I see people talking about ghosts and snows, anery and lavenders, can anyone tell me what perticular type of corn my boy is? I know it makes me sound stupid but I really want to know. Petco simply had "cornsnake" on his cage. thanks for any help!

Hard to tell, it's definately an amelanistic...Maybe a butter or cremescicle, the pic looks real orangy red on my monitor :*)

Judging from some pics I looked at on Kathy Love's website I always guessed it was a creamsicle but I was never sure. He is around a year old and I have never weighed him but I would assume he is a good weight because he is a very healthy snake from what I can tell.

he looks VERY amelanistic to me (just amelanistic), my computer sometimes has the same effect on pictures of mine.

I know that it is spelled Colonel. My female students named him Kernal (as in popCORN) and my male students ran with it and named him THE Kernal (as in colonel) of the Reptile Army! lol

On my monitor, looks red and orange... I vote Amelanistic (red albino), especially given it came from PetCo.

He's actually got alot of dark orange in his saddles with most of his side-body being a lighter orange (with it being almost yellow nearer his head). Don't know if this helps any but I just thought I'd put it out there.

My bad, then. I'm just an English nazi. :p

It is highly unlikely you'd find a butter at Petco, though he does look like one. My guess would be a very light amel or creamsicle.

Actually I have a freind who works at Petco and their snake order list has over 9 different kinds of corns on it. You just don't really get the chance to buy them because most of the employees snatch them up.
I bought a Sunkissed there for $45 three years ago. He will be proven next year.

Oh, also, am I the only one that thinks he looks a bit caramel? He's very dark for a butter and very yellow for a creamsicle.

So far I'm hearing creamsicle, caramel, and butter. Any other offers? lol (any distinguishing marks I could look for to tell for sure?
