• Hello!

Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.

Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....

Please be certain that the location field is correctly filled out when you register. All registrations that appear to be bogus will be rejected. Which means that if your location field does NOT match the actual location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected.

Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

Avatars

I think that most of the members here have edited a photo to make it a suitable size for an avatar.

avatars ~~~~~~:~

The posting set up tells how to put on an avatar when you hit personal info. I too have been having a problem getting one on. I can find a bunch, just use your seach engine of choice for free clips and photos, but I don't know how to cut them to fit! So if you get any ideas please share. Thanks, Sam ~~~~~:~

You need to have a basic image editing program... I know Windows XP supplies one, not sure about other operating systems. Also, if you have a digital camera, there's probably software that came with it that can do the job.

But, if you can't find any programs...I may be able to make a few avatars for some people. I can put them on my kingsnake photo account if you don't have any web space...

If you want, send me a pm with a link to the pic...and I'll see what I can do.

WOW! Thanks for the offer ~~~~~~~:~

I do have Windows XP, plus photo shop plus a few other programs, I should be able to do this one thing, maybe it's because I always try so late at night. But....If I continue to struggle then I just may take you up on your offer. Thanks! Sam ~~~~~~~~~:~

I use plain old Microsoft Paint to shrink and crop my photos. It took me a while to figure it out but now that I know how to do it, it's a piece of cake.
