Babies biting/striking... adorable!

Have any of you ever been bitten by your baby corns and just laughed? I was handling my baby Okeetee a while ago and she attempted to bite my thumb. Rather than be taken back, I found this to be possibly the most adorable thing I've ever seen a snake do. I think the poor girl hurt herself in the process of striking the flesh of my thumb, which was a good four times bigger than her little mouth.

Has this happened to anyone else? after owning a ball python for as long as I have and seen her strength in her strike, I just can't seem to get enough of my little ones.

None of my own snakes have ever stuck at me or bit me but I have been bit by little ones at pet shops and at a breeders and I too think the "big 'tude from the little dude" is soooo cute and funny!!

Well, I just got them (so to speak) so every now and again I catch them off guard. It was feeding day the day after so she was probably after a pinkie.... but got a thumb. :p

....That was corny. XD

Ummm...probably once or twice...a week.

Having the camera handy and ready, the bite last more than a split second and having it NOT occur on the hand you use the most (including the camera) occurs much less frequently, but does happen - An Anatomy of a Kill
