No but that is the size for an adult corn, as long as you have a number of hides it should be OK.
Yes your snake can stress rather easily as a hatchling. The biggest mistake new owners make is handling the snake right away. Trying to feed it often if it refuses and stressing it more.
 
No problem as long as you provide lots of cover and hides. I've done it before and had no problems.
