Is this breeder 100% confident in the cross? The iris looks way to light, much like the silvery look of an anery morph..

I'm not trying to hijack your thread, but...

We don't think there is hypo involved in the above guy which is an anery lavender motley..

We could say apples and oranges, but I don't know if I would be so sure..

Your little one reminds me very much of this..

Thanks Tim, your snakes are beautiful! So what is the one in the last pic you compare with mine?

As far as i know she was from hypo lav x hypo lav parents, and the dad is proven to be het anery...so i guess its putting two and two together, which i know isn`t always guaranteed to get 4 lol.

I paid less than i`d pay for a hypo lav so i`m happy whatever she turns out to be. I`ll try and get some better photos of her in natural light, i have a new camera and the flash seems to distort colour a little....i took a photo of my blond son and he had bright ginger hair in the photo! :roflmao:

Now I'm hijacking- I didn't realize anery lavs could show yellow like that, Tim! Makes sense, though.

She's totally beautiful! I wish I'd been at the show instead of at work.

Thanks, hate to rub it in but it was a fantastic show, best i`ve been to in a while. you definitely need to get the time off next year. :sidestep:
Whatever she turns out to be....VERY SWEET looking animal!

Exactly, and that in priciple is why i bought her..i don`t really do Lavenders, i`ve always found them difficult feeders..unless i`ve just been really unlucky..but this one captured me from the second i set eyes on her!

Here is what her breeder has said to me:

Well it's a long story, but here we go.
Hypo lav to hypo lav results produced what I thought was all hypo lavs, with 4 funny looking ones with blue eyes. Not knowing to much about the adults, I just thought these were hypo lavs just not as colourful as the rest. Later results from the male adult lav to a snow produced anerys. So the lav parents must be het anery = ghost lavs with the hypo lav het anery to hypo lav het anery breeding.

Gorgeous snake, and if you feel it was worth the money regardless of the exact morph, then that's all that matters. I love the blue eyes, and she is so light!
