backwards...?

My snake keeps eatting his mice backwards. It seems harder to get them down than when he goes for it head first but I was just wondering if anyone else had encountered this.

Legoless has done the same...usually only when he's in a BIG hurry to eat, but he has. No problems, just awkward looking!

Mine did the same when they were hatchlings nearly always but now they bigger they seem to have realised its much easier head first. I think they just go through a wee phase of eating "ass about face".

My husbands corn Axel always ate his butt first when we first got them. I was worried because the little legs on the pink looked like the were getting hung up.But I was wrong they went in alright. He finally grew out of that and now only eats them head first. My corn Isis always took her head first.Just like kids each one has their own way of doing things. lol

I have a 6 yr old breeder male that still insists on eating everything butt-first. Leave it to a male to always do things the hard way!
