Bad Shed?

Hey guys, ill start off by saying i did search for "bad shed" and nothing really came up. I think I have a bad shed on my hands.. I can see around the face/neck of the snake its coming off. But its been like that for a day or two. Today is feeding time. Should i go ahead with feeding or should i wait?

Also my snake feels dry to the touch? i guess because the dead skin is just waiting to be freed? Can I manually help him/her out or is that frowned appon? I have 50% humidity in the viv and i also bought a "humid hide" which i didnt have moss i used shredded paper towels that ive misted to pretty much soaking wet? should this help em out?

I'd hold off feeding till you get the shed off. It ought to be pretty easy. The reason I would lose the shed first, and feed second is because the tail tip will die if the shed remains on too long, so while it won't hurt the snake to go hungry for a little bit, hopefully just a matter of hours, it _would_ hurt to leave the shed for any length of time. Now if you had fed your snake, and then noticed retained shed, I would advise you to wait until digestion is over, 48 hours, before messing around trying to remove the shed, because you don't want to risk a regurge for any reason.
