Bamboo?

In my backyard there is a ton of bamboo and I was wondering would it be safe to cut some smaller branches, dry them, then wash them with a bleach water mixture (then water again to make sure the mixture) and put them in a Viv?

This is how I got the branches for my vivs hehe. Dad was pulling yearling maples out of the lilac hedge, so I took some branches, washed them with lightly bleached water and dish soap, let them dry in the sun and put them in the vivs. Only problem is having to re-wash them every month with the monthly cleaning.

Sounds like fun. :)

Not sure, Hight enough to kill off bugs with out having a forest fire,
150 degrees???????? five to ten minutes. This is just a guess. Keep a close eye on it. :flames: :flames: :flames:

I think I’ll wash the bamboo with soap and water, pat it dry, stick it in the over at 150 for 5 min’s then wash the bamboo again after it has cooled off. Sound good?
After i do this I'll show piccy's of it in my viv.

Not sure, but i remember reading somewhere that you should bake at 350 for 10 mins..... and just watch it, that way it kills all eggs too! but i think that was for rocks, so watch out!
