Banded okeetees?

Hey guys I have really wanted to do a banded okeetee project for a while now, but I had to sell most of my reptiles 2 years ago which included my reverse okeetee male that was perfectly banded.
And since then ive tried to keep my eyes open, I saw that jeff from east coast colubrids has some banded looking okeetee's and it got me wondering maybe I can do this project, or maybe someone else has already has progress.

Just picture this, one of the best abbotts okeetees you seen and envision him with wide borders wraping around the body into bands, either normal or albino it would be absolutley stunning. Kinda like a hypo honduran, I really think those would do well on the market.

With the miami bandeds, Are they using the motley gene to make them banded? Because but if they had borders, they would fade away into adulthood.
Have you heard of anyone working on this yet?
Have you seen any okeetees for sale that would fit description?

I'm not sure who's working on a major banded Okeetee project right now. I've thought about it the same way you have, those thick black borders wrapping all the way around would be hot. I know that Clint Boyer had been working on banded Okeetees, but he sold off most of his collection last year. I have one of his '05 banded Okeetee females. She does not have much in the way of borders, and I'm not sure if he was using motleys or not. Here's a fpic of her from earlier this year. It's a little overexposed, but she really does have an almost hypo-like brightness.

I'm producing F2's from my Milk-Phase Okeetee project this year. Below is a photo of the only F1 I kept.
I bred her to a very nice Hypo Okeetee this year, and that will prove out her "50%" het Hypo. Hopefully the pattern will carry through to a few of the babies! Should be an awesome looking clutch either way.;)

Last year I picked up a pair of Clint's Banded Okeetees to further the project, but his were Banded Motleys, so I decided they weren't the direction I wanted mine to go.

Here's Delores:
