Basic Snake First Aid

So guys, I've been trying to collect information from various threads on here to know what to do ahead of time for my snake ailments. I was wondering if we could open a discussion on what common problems you've had with your corns, (bad sheds, common injuries, regurges, etc.) And what you did to fix them. The nearest snake specialist veterinarian is over an hour away, and in May I'll be moving farther in the other direction. It would be nice to know I can take care of most issues myself.

In my first aid kit I would have: Nutribac, Betadine, olive oil, triple antibiotic ointment, and blue painter's tape.

In case of escape. That is the only safe tape to use for traps. The olive oil is to remove the tape from the snake.

Ha! Got it. My lid is really tight, so as long as I don't do something stupid, like forget to latch it, I hope to never have an escape. When I get my next one, I may have to worry because they don't make lids like that anymore.
