Well they are not "pure" corn so I figured I would post the pictures here. It seems I have been waiting for this clutch to hatch for a year, but they are finally here! :dancer: The pair was a Black Rat X TS Snow het Hypo, so the babies are all het amel, anery and 50% het hypo. I will get more pictures after they are all out!

Cuuute! Can't wait for more pics! I wonder whether the TS heritage will affect their coloration at all? It'll be interesting to see how they develop! :)

Cute and very interesting, but could someone explain to me the TS part? I tried to google it but couldn't really get anything. Sorry to hijack, I'm trying to learn more about these complicated genetic things.

Put them in a time machine and post pics of their offspring!!

Beast babies are so cute!!

TS = Tequila Sunrise = a line of corn snakes noted for a more than usual amount of yellow on their head and neck, as well as lots of pink/peach shades. The genetics of any one specimen may be partially unknown and slightly confusing at best. I'm sure you can search to find many examples of the line and probably a bit of the history and mystery of the line.

Here is a TS snow I briefly had in my possession for a breeding loan. Her name is Ione and she is owned by Chris Moeller (chris68) and I'm sure he can supply much more information on these than I can.

Thanks all for the comments! Nanci, Oh how I wish I could do that, I just dont know how I am going to wait to see them, but I guess I will have to.
I agree with Susan on the TS thing. The yellow is my favorite part of them so far, and I even have a project going on with that. There is a good discrption of the TS line somewhere, I will try to find it and post a link.

Here is the link, I forgot they added it in Ians Viv

Ians Vivarium has a write up on the TS line in their morph section. Tequila Sunrises were founded by a heavily frosted ultramel anery het hypo motley bred to a pastel ghost het amel. It is line suspected to have ratsnake blood.

Good luck Ryan, waiting for projects to grow can be agonizing, but the results will make it worth the wait :*)

They all made it out by this morning so I snapped a few pictures before separating them. The amel has not missed a meal in two months and is there for size comparison.

They all decided to make a mad dash at once so this is the last picture until they shed.

I am 90% sure she is an amel. The pairing was my amel motley to an amel. At first I thought she was an amel motley but she has a few belly checkers so I figure she is an amel het motley.

Thanks for explaining the TS thing, I didn't even know what it stood for :p I was thinking something like in black rats there are 2 different versions of albino, you could breed 2 together and still get all normal babies. Thanks again for clearing that up.
