k i know you are supposed to use aspen for a bedding, but how often should i change it? How do they poo if they only eat once a week.

Mine will usually poo a few days after they eat. I use paper towels as bedding personally... It's not as nice to look at, but it makes it easier to find the poop. :) I started mine out on Aspen and found myself sifting through the shavings trying to find poo, lol.
As for how often to clean, if you see poop you can just scoop it out with a tissue or something. I complete tank change once a month is usually air if you spot clean a lot.
That's just my opinion. :)

If they eat once a week, they generally poo once a week a few days later. As they get older, they eat less often and therefore poo less often. As to "how"... same way as everything else does!

Lestette has it. As soon as you see/smell poop, take it out and any soiled aspen around it, and replace with the same amount of fresh. Then once every 4-6 weeks, empty all of the aspen out, clean the tank with reptile-safe disinfectant and replace with clean fresh aspen.
