Hello everyone,
It has been awhile since I have been online (no internet) but I wanted to let everyone know that both my corns refused to eat and after having a specialist force feed they ended up dying the next day :( It was very frustrating and heart breaking...

I now own a 7 month old 3 ft red tail boa and another snow corn named simon, but I am getting worried for simon... since I brought him home he has been eating every week like a champ! The thing i am worried about is it seems he is digesting very slowly.. it is taking him longer to digest then his next feeding and when you hold him in the light you can see 3 different places where there are pieces of mice (ive had him for about 4 weeks now, so all 3 mice he has eaten)
When I take him out of his cage and try to hold him he moves around like his body is too heavy to move and he has a hard time crawling on my hand (rolls onto his side) but when i put him a smooth surface he does okay.. plus his skin feels very loose... anyways, any advice or info is very helpful!! btw - MISSED YOU ALL!! xoxo

so scratch that part about the loose skin, i thought it was shed but was taking too long and i just went to check on him and had a nice beautiful 1 piece shed, took some pics. ill post else where though but im still wondering about the digestion,,,,

How are you heating and what are your temps?

I saw your other thread and Simon looks to be a snow and the dark spots you are seeing are most likely his organs. If you hold him up to a bright light you may even be able to see his heart beating. As he grows and whitens up you won't be able to see inside him as well, the pink color makes him fairly translucent.

The temp on his cage is about 85 and i keep him in a room witj a humidifier. .seeing his organs seems right, i heldhim last night.and he pooped all over me so i guess i am just paranoid. After his shed he seemed normal to feel and was crawling right , thanks guys on the compliments, my firat corn about 4 years ago was a snow and i thijk they are the most gorgeous. Although i have seen some die hard beauties here!
