First couple of days hadling and Zing Zing was busy. Now seems docile and happy to rest in the hand - god sign or bad sign ?

It's good that they chill out & get used to you. Just make sure not to over handle. They are still quite nervous when they are babies.

Thanks again - what would you suggest is over handling. Zing Zing is out twice a day, pre school and early evening for about ten mins a session.

I don't handle my babies for 2 days after feeding. Then it's usually just once or twice a week. Most of them aren't big enough to feel sucure & they can be a real pain handling. Plus that amount of stress can interfer with his health.

Why do you have him out 2 times a day?

why have it out two times a day?!? 'cause they're so damn cool! that's why. :grin01: i do think that twice a day is a bit too stressfull for a baby snake though. try once every two or three days for now. they get a lot more used to it pretty quickly. i swear that my red albino comes to my hand when it's up and around and i reach in. although she probably knows it as a way out. hehe.

He's out twice a day because the kids just love handling him. He seems happy out and I'm told the breeder was handling him I think he's about 9 months to a year old. The breeder suggested Zing Zing as the most appropriate for children i.e. lots of handling

I do hold mine daily (except after feeding and in blue) and It doesn't seem to bother them at all. Very short sessions at first, 5 min maybe, after the settling in time. I think it depends on the temperament of your snake and you know it best :D. Sounds like you have a calm one :).
