Belle's Progression

Here are some pics of my Baird's ratsnake, Belle. I got her in October and she has already changed so much...cannot wait until her next shed to see how she'll change

First two pics are from the day I got her and the third pic was taken tonight.

She is very pretty, I would like to add one of those to my collection one day...

I lover her. Though I have only one corn snake to compare her to, she seems more clingy and less shy than my corn snake. Also loves to swim/sit in her water bowl and will stick her head out of the water to look at me like she's the Loch Ness monster

I love Baird's! Belle is very pretty. It's amazing how much they change.

Took Belle outside for the first time today and put her on the cherry tree in the backyard, she loved it! She flicked her tongue the whole time and explored every inch of the branch I set her on. I got a bunch of really good pictures, and here are a few of the best ones

Time for a little update. Belle is now over a year old and had become the most wonderful snake one could hope for. She rattles her tail, but that is the extent of her aggressiveness. She seems shy in her tank but watches my every move while I am in the room and once I take her out of the tank she just likes to chill on my arm and look around.

Here are a couple of pics. She looks completely different from her baby pictures but it is pretty cool to look back at her pictures and see the progression

The first pic shows that her black spots and face mask have pretty much disappeared. The second pic is how she sits and watches me . And the third pic is a close up of her scales.
