Bit worried about size

The Cat

So Melody is a yearling, turning two in July, and she seems rather small to me right now. I'm not sure how big she's supposed to be but I'm still a little worried. I recently switched her to fuzzies, which are the biggest mice I think she could fit in her mouth. She's probably eaten about three or four so far and has refused to eat multiple times (with a week/week and a half in between feedings) which is resulting in wasted mice. I've been buying the fuzzies at pet stores and they're sort of expensive, so I'm a little irritated that I've wasted so many. I'm thinking she may be off feed because Spring has started but I still want her to eat something. And yes, I have tried methods to get her to eat. Haven't worked.

Does she look a bit small to anyone? Not the best picture, I know. Sorry. But help would be appreciated! :)

It's hard to say from the picture. How much does she weigh?

I don't have a current pic, and I know normal varies, but our snake will also be 2 in July and he was about 160g the last time we weighed him a few weeks ago. He's eating small adults now. He's never missed a meal other than for sheds though. GL!

How much does she weigh?

I have yearlings ranging from 100 grams to 17 grams for a picky feeder who is in rehab with me (no longer picky- he eats like a horse! He was 3 or 4 grams when I got him at Thanksgiving!).

How do you prepare the fuzzies?

I don't know how much she weighs. :/ I prepare her food by letting it thaw in hot water, then I dry it off and give it to her.

I'd definitely get a digital scale, they're so handy to have, it makes figuring out what size mouse to feed so much easier, plus you know if your snake is gaining or loosing weight long before it's visible. That said, I have two hatchlings that are pretty much the same age that I bought a month apart. Both are in great condition, eat on the same schedule and have never refused a meal, but Sif is 33 grams and eating fuzzies while Vastra is 19 grams and still on double pinks. I think some snakes just grow faster than others, just like people do. :)

They also tend to hit quite a growth spurt once they hit fuzzies. No worries, she'll catch up.

Just judging from your picture, she looks a bit smaller than most of my yearlings. However, she does not look skinny, so I wouldn't worry as long as she's healthy and growing. :)
