Blaise finally got out of bed last night after sleeping for more than 3 weeks. So I have some photos! They're still awful, but they're better than a blurry snake head inside a plastic log. I guess.

He likes his hammock!

You know, my cats are fasinated with my snake too, but he seems to be just as curious about my cats, lol! And I thought my snake was trying to run away the first time he crawled up along the edge of his viv, guess it's a normal thing? Except when he falls, I freak out. I like the idea of your net, might try it out!

I got the hammock for Sev, but he never had a chance to use it. I felt so bad for him, watching him struggle to climb the cord. I thought I'd give him a place to lie down (although they don't do anything but lie down, in my experience, what with their not having legs). Blaise has proven that the hammock can also be used as a "booster seat" in his efforts to escape.

He's not fallen, to my knowledge, but the back end of him falls when he climbs down. It cracks me up to watch that tail tip get closer and closer to the edge, inch by inch, and then "Whump!" :)
