blizard+ reverse okeetee= ?

zombiexboo

defender of teh reptiles
My friend and I really want to know! My friend just got her blizard and there's a possability I may be getting a RO. So what whould we get?
A mix of both? (half and half)
Some odd mixture?
Something else?

If you cross a Blizzard, with an RO, all offspring would be Amels het Charcoal.
If the parents carry any hets (esp. matching hets), other possibilities could, also, be had.

I 2nd that Pasodama.

Zombiexboo here is why

Blizzard is a mix of Amel. & Charcoal

RO are line bred Amels. To make a morph both parents have to have the same morph. So here they both have the Amel gene. Hets are made by only one parent having the morph. One of your snakes has the charcoal gene so this why your babies would be Amel. het. Charcoal.

hmm,i would have never guessed that. thanks for the info. that's really neat though. i'll be sure to tell my friend that.

BECAUSE You know how much I LOVE him and sit with him sleeping in my jacket sleeve while i do my homework and all that stuff.

I don't want him to every get hurt or nuffin. D:
Plus what if mine turns out to be the GIRL?

I wouldn't want to risk it...

that really is interesting... I cant wait until I learn enough to understand all the intricacies of breeding!

Tell me about it!! I still don't even understand all the basics of the breeding and which genes mean what and the percentages of which they transfer...ect.

Not off-hand, at least.

Speaking of that, if anyone would be so kind as to explain the whole number system that I see on here everywhere, I would greatly appreciate it.

By numbers, I mean all of the 0.1, 1.0, 2.0 ect. that people are using to identify their pets.

It's confusing. D:

This is really pretty simple.

Example: 1.2 Snows mean 1 boy snow and 2 girl snows

Some time you will see this: 1.2.1 This means 1 boy, 2 girls and 1 not sure(unsexed)

Hope that helped. :)

I just bred one of my girls, she's laid her eggs and everything and she is 100%! She hasn't changed at all after having her "kids"...lol

Yes, that did a lot actually. I never knew what it meant!! I thought maybe it was something to do with the genetics or something. But then I'm like, 'wait, why would they had that for dogs and family members too?'

Lol. Thanks again. =]

Ohh. Well, first off, mine hasn't been sexed, so I can't do much of anything.
Plus he's only a tiny baby.

I do though, plan on one day getting another [or two more, or a whole collection] of corns, and I'd really like to breed them.

I have a few years to go until that time comes, though. :]
