Blizzard Pic Request

Right,

I'm due to buy a sub-adult male blizzard locaclly for around £100 which seems cheap so I want to see pics of different types of blizzards people have, the one im possibly buying looks pure white until under the light when you can see pastely pink saddles on it but the belly scales are yellow, like BRIGHT yellow, not all of them just the ones that tend to be black on normal corns so it's yellow & white checkerboard? Sooo I'm looking for pics of blizzard belly shots and the pinky type ones. I want pics of confirmed blizzards not 'possible' blizzards though as i'm keeping mine as a 'possible' until i find one that's a ded ringer pretty much.

Rach

He is an 04 and the yellow is starting to brighten with each shed. This is the best I have as we haven't had a serious photo day in months.

Good luck
Peace Paul

That's 100% Confirmed blizzard? I'm not a much happier person as I was starting to have doubts about the male I'm due to get being so yellow on the belly but if yours is 100% then mine has to be blizzard as it's a ringer.

Thank You!

Rach

I don't have a belly shot of this guy for you, but it's the same as the snake pictured above. Some blizzards can have a surprising amount of yellow saddle outlines on them. They've earned names such as "lemon-lined blizzards" and others to denote them as being different from the pure white blizzards. This blizzard shows quite a large amount of yellow outlining and his belly checks are just as yellow, and that was just as a yearling.

The only way it will be 100% is when I breed him but I trust the source (DAND) :crazy02: even though he has an attiutude. The snake and the breeder, imagine that. :grin01:
I have seen many blizzards that have this yellowing and if you check the Serpenco site Rich has some good pics of Blizzards both with and without.

Peace
Paul

The description sure matches that of a blizzard. Snows have much more obvious saddles and you don't need to hold them just right in order to see the saddles. Also, as mentioned, there are plenty of blizzards with yellow on them.

Just wanted to check as few things seem odd, shop sells baby butters £95, baby blizzards £120 so why let an older male go for £100, i know they knock prices down for me anyway but still makes no sense but then again they have no more plans for blizzards i dont think and sold females so i dunno lol. Anyway if i buy and it ends up snow no major loss because its a stunner and snows are always useful for breeding

here'smy blizzard. i don't have a belly shot though. i'll try to get one.
i'll also include a pic of my snow, just for comparison.
