Guy who wants a snake
hi, im Adam

ive wanted a Corn snake for a few years now, and hopefully in the next couple o years ill get one!

im here to learn properly how to raise a happy snake, and i think this should work, since ive studied snakes since i was eight

so yeh... hi :spinner:

Hello and welcome, wow research years in advance! Good for you.

i cant get enough of snakes, i love em so much, i wanna be the best carer for every snake in own in the future

unfortunately my parents wont let me get a snake, so ill get one when i move out

i also wanna be a herpetologist, or if there is any job specifiacally on studying snakes, that job (if anyone know this kinda job, can you tell me plz?)

cheers

You would likely need to get a degree in herpetology and then go from there. You might try showing your parents some of your research and corns are usually an easy sell as they are harmless and cute!

my parents know ive done loads of research, they even know they are small and ive told them theyre harmless, but they say they just dont one, maybe they're scared

hi adam!

a lot of parents are hesitant about bringing a snake into their homes. my parents were like that in the beginning. corn snakes are just so docile and amazing little creatures that i'm sure they will fall in love in no time. my mom thought kensei (my normal hatchling) was a disgusting 'worm' when i first brought him home, but now i always find her checking up on him and asking me to take him out for her! i guess what i'm trying to say is if worse comes to worse and they won't budge on letting you get a snake, just bring one home and maybe they too will fall in love with it :)

to be honest, if i brought a snake in, 99% chance it would end up being flushed down the toilet like a fish would after 5 minutes lol

Hi and welcome!

Too bad that your parents don't want a snake. I'm lucky about that, as my mom liked snakes as pets (she and her brothers had them when she was a kid) quite a bit before I got one, and now she really loves them. I hope you find some way to convince them.
