BP tank sizes

So everyone seems to have a different opinion on tank size for a BP. The pet store lady says a 10 gallon is fine for life (yeah right) she also has 3 full grown and 3 babies in a 20 gallon.

Im looking to get a 3-6 month old bp today and was hoping a 20 gallon is enough for atleast a year.

What do you experienced people think?

Sorry if I'm repeating myself, but, this is a cornsnake site and even though some corn keepers also keep BP's this isn't the place to ask. You'll find many great sites to find this info but the point of a specific cornsnake site is to have a resource for corn keepers where we can specialise a bit.

Thankyou, Adèle

yes a 20l or a 30g will be good for an adult but but you want to give it space so you'll need about a 40g breeder or however big you want it.

Maybe I just need to be a bit more forceful about what is pertinent on this site.

This is a Corn Snake site, people. If you want to discuss other types of animals, either do so in the Chit Chat forum I set up or take it to another site such as http://www.FaunaClassifieds.com.

I'm sorry for replying to this, but a bp also needs his care, so a 20 gallon can house it fine as an adult, when I get mine I want to get a nice custom viv, like a vision, so it has plenty of room. again sorry for replying, hey, go to www.constrictors.com lots of smart guys, good info, nice forum, check it out for more of those questions.
