hi all.i know that age doesent reily matter when it comes to breeding and wait is all that matters. ihave a yearling normal male who is huge he is 170g and 3ft long i feed him on one fuzy mouse a week and i was just wondering if i can breed him in 8 or 9 months thanks in advance.

I'd argue the age point for females, but males not so much. I don't see why you shouldn't try breeding a male that's nearly two years old. Fertility seems to be lower with younger males, so it's a toss-up as to whether he hits the target. But as long as he's roughly the same size as your planned female then it's worth a try.

I think that boy will be okay to breed. I preach the 2/2/2 rule but he definitely has the weight and length he should be ready to go by March.
