Hi all,

I'm new to snakes (3 months to be exact).... have this nice female amel about 388g now and I got the original owner agreed to loan me a male.

My amel is in shedding mode now. Color is milky, I think might be another 3 days to shed. If I were to introduce the male to her after shedding, should I feed her first??? Or should I feed her and let her alone for a couple of days and let them together?

Any other advise are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

That is a good question!
I am not sure if what I do is right or wrong, but I just feed my females according to their schedules and when they shed I let a male "spend the night".

So far I have not had any problems with it.
