hi, i've been trying to breed my corn without brumation but gets no result, my male(400+g) is interested in the female(700+g) but my female always runs away, i already tried putting them together when the female is newly shed, what can i do to encourage my female to breed? thanks in advance :)

I'm not exactly sure if corn snake breeding season in your location matches what it is here, but if it does, you may be a bit early. Just keep introducing the pair every few days. When I bred my corns last year without brumation, it took several months and several sheds for some females to accept a male, despite the males constant advances. You may also have the bad luck to have a female that simply just doesn't like that particular male. It can happen, and vice versa as well, which is why I always have a second male to use for every female.

I breed without brumation successfully, but I do have an intended pair that won't cooperate. The male is keen but the female simply won't have anything to do with him. She particularly annoys me because she ovulates so wildly that she acts as though she's gravid. She just never lays. I've tried them for several seasons and no joy at all. Sometimes it ain't gonna happen!

Keep trying with yours though. It could just be timing.
