Brumating and sheading

I brumated my male/female pair that I wanted to bred this spring. On March 1 I took them out and warmed them up gradually and started their feeding gradually, just like i had read, 3 weeks later the male shed his skin but the female shows no signs of sheeding yet. Should I wait till she sheds or is sheeding that important? I have ordered some cages and I was wanting to wait till my cages arrived so I could bred them in their new permanent habitat.

You brumated them together?

From my understanding it's help to have her shed in the tub when breeding. Sort of sets the mood.

The female shedding can help get the male in the mood, but I wouldn't say it's vital. It's certainly worth a try without.

I would put them together once a week, shed or no shed, until they start breeding, then breed every three days until they stop, or five breedings.
