I think I remember you from last year! I am sorry your clutch didn't live. I had some eggs from a second clutch go bad, I found the babies dead in the egg after developing almost to the point of hatching. I believe in my case the problem was too much humidity.
I normally brumate my snakes for 2 months, I think 1 month might be a little short. I guess you could try, some people don't brumate at all and still are successful.

Even short brumation should be fine. I didn't lose any eggs so I can't help you with the problems you had. I'm hoping that the snakes are kept seperated except for the photo?

Well, yes! Unless you are planning on breeding this instant, you shouldn't be co-habitating. I'm surprised that you haven't had a young female with eggs already. How old are these animals? If you want fertile eggs, I would suggest you only pair one female at a time. Seperate after they've finished, give the male a few days off and then pair again. This allows the male time to replenish the sperm. You'll have a better chance of having more fertile eggs that way. You should be able to pair each female at least 3 to 4 times before she refuses to breed anymore. At that point, the females should be housed in their own places with their own egg boxes.
