Brumation question

This may be an odd question, but do all captive corn snakes need to brumate or hybernate (not sure of appropriate term here) or is it just necessary for snakes who are going to breed?
Thanks in advance.

No, not all snakes need to brumate... If your snake is a pet and you have no intention of it breeding the temps. can stay the same year round... Then your snake will be much more active for you as well... :)

Thanks. That's what I thought originally, but someone was telling me differently so I figured better ask and be sure.:)

And with corns it's usually not even necessary to brumate them, but it makes the chances of them wanting to breed better. They're very easy snakes to breed. If you have a boy they may stop or not want food as much during the winter, so that's completely normal.
