i was wondering if they make good feeders? if heard the chicks can feed younger snakes and that adult will feed older ones. i also need to know where to buy them because i havent seem them about at any reptile stores or exotic pet stores.
also how do you breed them? do you just chuck a male and a female together and wait for eggs?
i just need to know if mice are better and easier to breed. (i want clean and quiet breeding animals)
so can anybody help me out?
(and you do need to kill the quail so they don't peck the snake right? whats the quickest way to do that?)

Can you source frozen mice? That'd save you the trouble of breeding anything as a feeder.

Chicks can be used as feeders for Corns, but generally go right through them and result in very smelly/runny poop. Not sure I'd like to feed them full-time. Mice are the more usual standard menu for a Corn.

I'd think that the big downside of quail is that they'd need much more room than a mouse colony, as well as outside accommodation.
