Cage Liners

I have seen precut cage liners on some web sites that are made of paper. What type of paper are these liners made of? In the pics it don't look like just plain brown paper. And are these liners safe for my corn snakes? And do they use the liners alone or do they put a substrate on top of the liners?

They are a type of butcher paper or unbleached thicker paper towels. They are 100% safe. I use them all the time in certain cages. I use liners with no substrate for new hatchlings, several types of python and geckos.

You can put substrate on them if you like. Some people do, so don't.

I have found some rolls of brown indented kraft paper on ebay, a 300 foot roll that is 24 inches wide is 9.60 but it is 16.00 for shipping, so I am trying to see if I can find it locally.
