Can corns get sick of humans

So I have a baby corn, about 5 months old now. I also have a bad head cold, I am sneezing everwhere and my nose is plugged.

I am wondering if it is safe to handle her. I don't wanna give her some sickness that would kill her, or make her need to go to the vet.
 
Outside of some very rare zoonosis, we can't transmit disease to snakes. They can get sick of you, though! ;)
