Can humid hide be too much of a good thing?

I live where it is pretty dry, so I faithfully keep a humid hide in the viv previous to shedding. They love it, so I have been keeping it in the viv most all of the time. I just put a little moist peat moss in small food container. Can being constantly in the viv be too much for the snakes (one okeetee, one tangerine milk in the other viv) if they spend a heck of a lot of time in the hide? I feel they probably go in and out as need be.

Just let it dry out after the shed. I have two snakes that virtually live in their humid hides. Check periodically for mold.

Gunn is the only one with a humid hide 24/7. He seems to only use it when he needs it though. The rest of the time he can be found hidden under his water dish. I'm not worried about him, although I suppose if it was the only hide he wanted to use, I'd be alot more concern.
