My corn snake is about to shed. His eyes just cleared and his skin is returning to somewhat normal(reutine). However this is his SECOND shed with me!!! I just wanted to know is it safe to handle him at this state also is it safe to handle him right after? Ive heard they are aggressive before they shed because they can hardly see (although this does'nt affect thier sence of smell) and I LOVE TO HANDLE HIM!! not excessively though. Any answers???

Yes, it's safe to handle him. The only snake I have that is aggressive when in shed is Big Jake, and only when provoked. (See the thread "When Big Jake Attacks.")

Some snakes would rather be left alone when in shed, others just don't seem to notice even being in shed, it depends on the personality of your individual snake........

In my experience

IME, the spoken of behaviors have been much more pronounced in wild caught snakes I've kept for periods thereafter. Behaviors adapted to insure their survival.
I mean, gosh, my captive bred babies eat and everything else throughout every stage of their sloughing cycle.
