Can you Identify this please..

I have no clue what morph this one is, he is almost 6 foot long if not larger and about 5 inches around. if i can figure it out im going to attach a pic if not ill attach a link to it. the pic i have is really old almost 3 years old now. the bands now have a very thin border on them about one scale thick right on each border of the 2 oranges.

please let me know anything about this male. I am thinking he might be a hybrid and if he is I do not want to breed him.

Thank you in advance

Hard to tell in that photos as the snake looks to be "in blue", the lighting is poor for identification and the photo is blurry. I will make an educated guess and say normal or possibly hypo corn (I have normals and hypos that look similar in coloration to that), but if you could provide some better photos, we can make a better guesstimate.

here is another pic of him, still older pic but better view of his color... i know he is not normal or hypo because well i have them and he looks nothing at all like them.

like i said the colors are slightly different now between the 2 tones of black he has a one scale thick black line dividing them all up. I measured him yesterday and he is 6'2" as of right now.

Normals and hypos encompass a huge range, just look at the difference between Okeetees and Miamis. There is no set look for them. Thus, while he could look drastically different from the normal and hypo you own, he still could be either.

... i know he is not normal or hypo because well i have them and he looks nothing at all like them.

Just because he doesn't look like your other normals and hypos doesn't mean he isn't one. For example, these are ALL normals, yet they don't like each other...

I just took a few new pics of him. he just shed like 45 minutes ago so his color is decent right now. As a side note I have sent pictures of him to Kath Love and she had no clue at all, When I got him he was 1 and have had him for 3 years and every shed more and more black is creeping into the borders between his shades of orange. What I really want to know is if he is a hybrid or not because if he is a hybrid I will not breed him ever, I disagree with hybrids.

Looks like a banded (possibly motley) normal cornsnake to me. Similar to this one.

What does his belly look like? Most Upper keys have a patternless belly and ones that sport checks only have side checks. His coloring looks a lot like Upper keys but it's very rare for them to get that fat. Either way, Upper Keys is just another type of normal so without knowing his heritage you are probably better off just calling him a normal. :shrugs:

That would lean even more towards Upper Keys, I'd suggest putting him on a diet. :) 5 inches is not a healthy girth.

He eats once a week on weaned rats, about the size of adult mice, they barely leave any lump. If i feed mice he is beyond aggressive hunting constantly so i feed him slightly larger and he is satisfied. He is able to take a medium rat but I wont feed him that much. For his length he is the right girth, in proportion to smaller corns I have he is the exact same build. Like i said he is over 6 feet long.

I don't know about anyone else, but I can't see any images here at all. I can't even copy and paste the info provided into a new window. All that comes up (once I eliminate the extra "http://") is the My Space home page. :shrugs:
