Hello,

Last month while driving to the Tikal ruins in Guatemala, we came across this snake on the side of the road. Anybody able to tell what kind of snake it is?

looks to be a tiger rat snake aka thunder snake. I can't think of the species off the top of my head but they are supposed to be big and mean. Beautiful snake though.
