Can you see a snake in the tree?

LOL, years ago we were out in the swamp in a boat and my daughter who was about 6 at the time kept grabbing the limbs of overhanging bushes as we would float past. Just to scare her, I said, 'leave that snake alone before it falls in the boat.' She turned and looked more closely at the limb she was holding on to and got very pale. Then I looked and just past her hand was a huge cotton mouth, sunning itself on the branch. She was within inches of it. She let go and sat down and we moved the boat further away from the bush. Sometimes, you just can't see them:)
