Candling Eggs

Yes, candling works well with most reptile eggs. A LED light is the best thing to use, it won't get hot.

Yup a mini LED flashlight is what I used. I just move aside the substrate and shine a beam of light through, I used some black electrical tape to cover most the area of the flashlight. Here's my eggs about the second week. Good Luck!

I picked up a small LED keychain flashlight like this one for reading in the car at night at a convenience store.

It turned out to be perfect for egg candling!

I have a little cheap LED book light that works great for candling, it's too small to work well for it's intended purpose but is just right for gecko eggs.
