Hey! I have a question. This evening, after seeing Cornelius in a rather explorative mood, I took an empty ritz cracker box and ripped (not cut, to avoid the sharp edges) holes, made folds for little "landings" to climb, etc and placed it in his tank.

He's all over it, climbing and poking in and out of the holes, hanging off of it-- my question is: this is safe, right? He seemed perfectly fine, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has done this (beyond paper towel rolls). :)

And if it's all good-- well, I reccomend it for babies! Cheap, disposable fun for the little guys. ;) I should take some pictures! He looks hysterical and the red box shows off his colours pretty nicely, if I do say so myself. :dancer:
 
Yep, that's absolutely fine as long as it hasn't been in contact with chemicals like kitchen cleaning products. Also handily disposable when pooped on, plus free to replace!

Pictures please!!

I miss being able to put random things in Charlie's viv for him to clamber around in! I always said I was going to get those hamster 'jungle gyms' and connect all the bits together so he could roam all over the house! That one didn't ever happen.. :)
