as some people are aware my snake got out last night. it hasnt eaten since the 20th of aug and shed its skin last week how long will it take for it to want to eat again
 
use as many bottle traps as you can and put them in the room the snake was last seen in to start with....in closets, along walls..under things....
 
Oh boy! Escaped snakes are always fun! I've found that when mine escape they're normally still in the room they escaped into. Literally check in the randomest of places. Even if it isn't warm. I know my one cornsnake hid out in with my CD cases for about 2 days...
 
Last ditch method:

Begin removing items from your room. Start with the smaller things and make sure they are snake free and pile them in the hallway.... then move onto larger stuff.
 
K, look under heat sources, in any open drawers, in your bed, under the bed... is the room upstairs or down? If in an enclosed area look in any small opening. If it has access to multiple rooms look in the nearest rooms in the same sort of places.
Corns (because of their lack of needing high temperatures) can live for long periods of time in your house. Put out a bottle trap in each area your snake could potentially access... but I found it just didn't work. You'll probably end up finding him/her in the randomest place ever. GOOD LUCK!
 
It also helps to have a search "posse" hahahaha I got all my sibs and friends and bf to help me with the search for mine

i had me both my next door neighbour and his girlfriend, my girlfriend, my mate his boss and his girlfriend no joy lol
 
You have honestly moved all of your furniture in the entire house around and invaded it with a half dozen people... without alerting your girlfriend's mother whom you don't want to know there is an escapee? A thorough check of each room could take hours and you've managed all of this in just the half day since morning, including rounding up a bunch of random people?

wen i got up this morning i looked from the moment i looked. my girlfriends mum asked me what for i said my credit card lol. and my neighbours wondered what the banging was and then i rang my mate to come round and help lol

It's Murphy's Law! You don't want your gf's mom to know! She'll be the one that'll find it. CHECK THE LAUNDRY BASKETS! My friend accidentally sent his snake through the wash :( very upsetting
