i recently picked up a cb radio to mount in my truck. ( only reason i have it is for the offroading i do with the club we talk on cb radios if we need help or get lost stuff like that, plus easier than phones) well i got the cb but i need an antennas for it. now im looking for 2 antennas actually that go up at the front of my truck. like on my mirrors almost but i would run them through the hood.... anyone know hwere i can find cb mirror antennas that arent like 2 and a half feet long each? i only want them to be about a foot long each maybe a lil more. i dont want them reachin above my hood..


( yes i am back from usmc boot camp and yes i have already went back for training but because the classes im taking are filled up they gave me leave time until classes open up idk when im going back but i will eventually just waiting on my classes.) until then i just go mud bogging and off on the trails with the 4x4 club im apart of. but yea the antenna help would be appreciated..
 
You should be able to pick something up at a truck stop or maybe a radio shack. Look for firestick or k40's.

thats where i got my cb was the local flying j pilot truck stop.. radio shack is trash lol in my mind they are a rip off. truck stops are way cheaper..

truck stops had antennas but the few mirror antennas they had were huge way to big for my truck i dont want them really going about my roof.
