changing color -- just wondering

So my lavender, Jasper, is starting to change colors from his tail up... about mid-body he goes from pink to purple-ish. Is this just how corns change? I haven't been able to figure out how to add a picture on here or I would post one.
 
Sounds lovely! Yes they do change colors when they get bigger & older. If u click on the "go advanced button" it will take u to a page with more options including a little paper clip "add attachments" and u can upload them from your computer! Can't wait to see pics! :)
 
This is a pretty good pic where you can see the color difference. He is fat cuz I had fed him the day before :)

Wow, he looks great! What does his belly look like? He looks like he has the Diffuse gene in there somewhere, do you know if he is het? If he is homo Diffused he will have a completely white belly.

Male lavs can get pretty peachy, he looks like he's progressing very "normally". Every snake is different though! Now that you know how to upload pictures, make a progression thread for him in the photo gallery and update it every month when he sheds. He's a very pretty snake, I'm sure he'll be a hit.
 
Thank you! And yes, his belly is completely white and iridescent too. I am just learning all these terms, haha. What does homo diffused mean?
 
Nice, he is a Lavender Bloodred (that's what homo diffused means). I thought he looked like one!! Congratulations.
 
I believe it is also called a Plasma (My favourite morph + butters). :)

I'm learning all the names too. ;)
