Now I have no idea what these terms means but a few where thrown about when I got this little guy today.

I was told he was a charcoal motley and also told he is a ghost motley.

Knowing what he is would be nice if anyone can tell :)

He's pretty! Definitely looks motley. It's hard to tell from the picture, but I think he looks more like a ghost than a charcoal.

After hours of research I think I agree! His markings are very peculiar. I will try and get some better photos once he is settled :)

As a quick question. He came out to explore within an hour of me bringing him home. And literally has been running round the viv flat out for three hours. Is he just inquisitive or is he stressed?

Most snakes spend their first couple of hours exploring a new environment, probably to try to find an escape route. I would say it's nothing to worry about and pretty soon he will find a place to hide and settle down.

As long as he has a couple snug/secure hides on both sides of the viv he'll find his way to one and then you'll be wishing he came out more often. lol

Thank you. He's only two months old so we will see how he changes as he ages :)

As I'm interested Managed the research on this one. Any clues on my other boy?
