I got a huge tank that used to house lizards in and i now want to use it for snakes. what is the best way to fully clean this thing and make it safe for my snakes. if anyone could provide the type of household solutions they use and what ratios and also the best process to use. Thanks

You could go with a solution of about 15% bleach to water. Fill the tank with about 3 inches of water and use a rag or towel or something to scrub the sides and bottom. Then rinse it out, towel dry, and let it sit out during the night to let it dry completly and let any traces of bleach evaporate.

I tend to do that above but with a bit of alcohol in it- about 3 tbs
