Cleaning the snake???

I have a new amel which I purchased for $20. She is 13.5 inches and just completed her first shed. She is a good eater.
My question is: How do I clean the snake? Yesterday, she expelled reprocessed mouse in her housing. She didn't appear to be dirty, but my wife decided to clean her by putting her under running water (not her head). Is this proper cleaning procedure? It seems to me that anything short wouldn't get the snake as clean.

Thanks for the help!

Reprocessed mouse? Lol. Well, snakes don't need to be cleaned. However, some snakes like a nice bath but not a shower. Put a few inches of cool (not warm or cold) water in the sink and let the corn swim around on its own accord. If she doesn't like it she will let you know be desperately trying to escape.

Question: by "reprocessed mouse," do you mean that she pooped or that she regurgitated the mouse )undigested or incomlpletely digested)?

Okay, good. :) No need to clean the snake after pooping. They lift their tails when they go, so the tail doesn't get dragged through it. They also don't usually crawl through it much. My snake doesn't like to go inside his tank, so he waits until I take him out and put him in the bath tub.
