Cleaning Used Tanks

I have come into possession of 2 ten gallon glass tanks, one previously having guppies and the second housed an unknown reptile.

I have two months before I hopefully pick up my first animal (s) but I want to make sure my tanks are clean before I bring anyone home. Anybody have any tips on cleaning up used (excellent condition) tanks?

vinegar and water is an excellent disinfectant. Bleach is also an option. Just make sure to rinse the tanks well and let them dry completely.

My blue tongue skink use to be in an old fish tank and he did just fine.

Water + ammonia is good too. Ammonia is good for cleaning glass and it also kills the disease cryptosporidium.
